Álvaro Henríquez is a Chilean musician, composer, and singer-songwriter. He was born on February 6, 1969, in Concepción, Chile. He is best known as the lead singer and songwriter of the band Los Tres, which he co-founded with Roberto Lindl and Francisco Molina in 1987. The band became one of the most influential and popular bands in Chilean history, blending rock, jazz, and traditional Chilean music styles.
Henríquez is recognized for his poetic lyrics, distinctive voice, and innovative guitar playing. He has released several solo albums, including ‘Álvaro Henríquez’ (2005), ‘Amute’ (2012), and ‘Flamingo’ (2019). He has also collaborated with other prominent Latin American musicians, such as Jorge González, Rubén Albarrán, and León Gieco.
